Né en 1964 en France.
En 1982 après une formation en Arts Appliqués et en Gravure dans l'atelier Zwy Milshtein Laurent Chaouat-Jung commence à exposer un travail de gravure.

After a work of engraving mentored by Rémi Buccialli in Colmar , Laurent Chaouat-Jung works essentially with inks and paper collages, combining poetry and silence, using their transparency. His work plays on suspension and tension, the white spaces and the rhythm of colored harmonies.
Since 2003, Laurent Chaouat-Jung has been working on engravings at the Pasnic workshop in Paris and exhibits the range of his work at the Galerie Brun Léglise
